How to get notifications of new games from specific developers (iPhone)?

Is there a way on an iPhone to get a notice when a particular developer releases a new app/game?

There are about 30-50 escape game designers, and it’s a PITA to keep checking all of them to see when/if they’ve come out with a new game. Does an app or service exist that allows me to identify/mark/follow the designers I'm interested in, and it will periodically check the App Store to see if they’ve come out with anything new?

IFTTT seems like it should do this, but although I was able to set up the proper notifications it has only occasionally worked correctly - mostly it sends notifications for the wrong apps or fails to do so for the right ones. So I'm checking for options other than IFTTT.

I made a Shortcut using the Shortcuts app real quick. I don't think it's exactly what you want but you can customize it however you would like. When you run it, it gives you a list of all the apps in the App Store belonging to each of the developers in a list you provide once. You can select the ones you want to try and then those get sent to you in an email. You can download it here. Once you have it, you can tell it to remind you to run it on a regular basis under the Automations tab.

It would be possible to add additional functionality to only show apps you haven't tried, and it wouldn't be too hard, it would just take time.
