A question about coverage

Which brands of “period pants” currently available in the UK have coverage all the way up to the waist in the front?

I have warmed to the current trend of “period pants” designed to capture menstrual blood and prevent leaks. However, because of the way in which my anatomy works - coupled with my tendency to sleep one my front or side - I am most in need of coverage toward the front, and a significant way up the front.

So far, I have tried two different brands. The first (which no longer seems to be made, and which in any event is less-than-perfect in some other ways) contains a panel that goes all the way from waistband to waistband in the middle, via the crotch. The second only provides coverage in an area approximately equivalent to the coverage of an unambitious traditional towel/pad. I would really like to find a new brand to love, but it’s hard to determine the scope of coverage without examining a pair in person - which only seems to be possible by buying a pair at a not-insignificant cost.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

I bought Modibodi which has very generous coverage, more than a traditional pad. The granny pants style one will go absorption up to about 1-2" below my bellybutton, and I've got similar issues - leaking at the front when heavy bleeding while side-sleeping and these have been good. They come in light, moderate and heavy and the heavy ones are really absorbent. I am happy with the mixed styles pack I bought, but if I were to buy more would go with more granny styles medium and heavy. They are surprisingly thin for the amount they can take. I generally rinse them by hand under cold water, then just machine wash them with regular laundry. They ship everywhere. Happy to answer specific questions, really pleased with them.
