Need a Groove replacement

Till Microsoft denatured Groove in the past year, it used to play my local AND OneDrive cloud collection of music files. At home, on the Windows 10 desktop. The only thing that comes close to replacing this service (so far, in my limited knowledge) is something called MusicPlayer for OneDrive, but that's not gapless.
I need gapless and would also like something w/ a better search feature than the simple scrollbar that app has. Any suggestions? I have Google Play, but that may be discontinued, I hear -- plus I need it to have a priori access to my OneDrive b/c I can't upload my collection due to hotspot limitation, etc. Need something just like Groove. Could it be Spotify? Local and cloud?
