Is this an app?

I have a lot of calls in a day - so many that I wish I had an old fashioned personal assistant who would call into my meetings and buzz me to say, "Joanne is on line two." Is there an app that would do that for me instead?

This app would connect to my google calendar and call me on my cell at the specified time and then call into whatever call I'm supposed to be on connecting me.

Does this exist? Could it exist?

Does it need to be an actual incoming phone call, or would some other kind of pop-up reminder on your phone be good enough?

You can set up a Google Calendar reminder, and put the phone number into the "location" field of the calendar event. That way, when the notification pops up at the scheduled time, all you have to do is tap the location to place the call.

What are you trying to achieve? Extract yourself from a call you’re on? Get a reminder to finish a call because you have to get on another? Can people genuinely not get through to you?

At this point my employer has done away with landlines and all our calls are either Skype or on my mobile. Both would tell me if somebody else is trying to call me. Outlook pops up with a reminder for scheduled calls I should be getting on and there is nothing to stop me from using ‚another incoming call‘ as an excuse to get off a call I‘m on.

So you probably already have tools at your disposal to achieve what you’re trying to achieve.

On re-reading. Yes. Put the number in the location of the calendar entry and then you can just click on it on your touchscreen and it dials that. Also, Skype meetings where you just click on the link.

I can't tell from your question what you actually want. How is this different from the way your phone already functions by default? What do you mean "at the specified time"?

Your phone already does this.

It's not clear how you want Google Calendar to get involved to alert you to an
incoming call. And yes, what is the "specified time," if not the time when the call actually comes in?
