What kind of stemware is this?

My wife and I have had these two glasses in our cabinets for years, and we have no idea what they are intended to be used for. Wine glasses? Dessert glasses? Some kind of snifter? Here's a photo.

I think a frozen dessert like a sherbet or glacè.

Sorbet glasses.

Best answer: I’d call that a Nick and Nora glass. They’re good for stirred cocktails because they only hold 3-4 oz so can’t accommodate the melted ice of a shaken drink.

Agree that it's a Nick and Nora, a close cousin of the Martini and coupe glass.

Response by poster: Thank you, aubilenon. Looking at online descriptions of Nick and Nora glasses, that's definitely the correct answer.

FWIW I make shaken cocktails and pour them in my Nick and Nora glasses all the time. Mine hold 5oz which is perfect for the average shaken cocktail recipe.
