Is there a vegan Zingerman's?

I've been sending coffee cakes and pastries from Zingerman's for Christmas, but I'm getting less comfortable with it, and more of my family members are turning vegan. What are the alternatives?

Yes, I'm aware that it's easy to find Zingerman's vegan selections, but the baked goods are mostly bread, which I find pretty dull and not festive. So I'm hoping there's a very high quality vegan company or very vegan-friendly company that will have more options. I sometimes send gifts from Farm Sanctuary's sweet shop, but I'm looking for other options.

Personal recommendations preferred, though it's possible I've missed stuff googling.

Best answer: Sweet Maresa's -- you can phone them about special requests. I'm not sure how much mailing they can accommodate, but Maresa herself helped me plan a birthday surprise for a friend, so I think they're open to special requests when they have capacity. You can also order her macarons from Lagusta's Luscious (which is an amazing option in and of itself if you want to send chocolate).

Also, if there's a peanut butter cup enthusiast in your life, Eat Chic could also be a good option.

I've ordered (non-vegan) baked goods from Etsy and been super happy. They seem to have a lot of vegan baked goods. I'd also suggest trying to narrow the search to your state/city or the state/city/country of your recipients -- I love doing that since it can greatly reduce shipping time and costs!

Sweet Freedom bakery in Philly is vegan, and does mail order.

I don't know if they ship, but Dottie's Donuts in Philadelphia are vegan and very tasty (and I usually don't like vegan baked goods).

Adjacent snacks - Hubs peanuts and Chukar dried cherries go over very well.

Hubs works for someone who’s allergic to tree nuts but not peanuts. Probably there are tree regions that specialize the other way?
