Best fleece-lined leggings?

I want some fleecy leggings for winter. I would like them to be high-rise, come in 7/8ths or petite lengths, and resist pilling and bagging. A higher price point is fine if they are really well made. Thanks!

I am sorry to say that these do NOT meet your cropped/petites requirement, so maybe this will just be a no-go for you, but Black Milk leggings in their fleece-lined fabrics (the fabrics in question are called Toastie and Warm) are available in high-waisted cuts, and hold up beautifully over years of wear. I do recommend that you hand wash or wash only on delicate cycle in a lingerie bag, and never ever put them in the dryer.

I have really loved my Hue fleece-lined leggings. I'm not sure if they come in petite, but I am relatively short (5'3") and they aren't long on me.

i basically live in my lululemon toasty tech tights all winter long, they are high rise, full length, have 4 pockets, two of which zip shut, and are insanely cozy. they are also stupid expensive and only available on ebay currently but god. so worth it.

the oldest pairs i own, bought brand new in store like 5-6 years ago, have begun pilling a bit in the upper thigh area but that's it. they could not be baggy if their lives depended upon it; they might actually be too tight for you unless you like squeezy clothes? idk how to describe this but i have sensory issues and these are perfect for that. they date back to when lululemon's quality was far more commensurate with the pricing than it is today.

LL Bean, Athleta and Eddie Bauer all sell Polaterc Powerfleece leggings which are warm enough to snowshoe and xcountry ski in. The fabric is the same so the only difference is the cut and I'm not in the love with the last Athleta version I bought which is, imho, too low cut. They all run around $98, last 5+ years easy. I'm sure you can find that fabric elsewhere too.

All three brands sell cheaper fleece leggings with their own brand fleece which are also warm but significantly less wind proof in my experience. So better for running or wearing under something else like a skirt but less good to wear alone. They also hold up really well.
