Is there a restaurant anywhere close to The Centre in the Square that can accommodate both vegan and keto diets? What's good for one is bad for the other, so a pure vegan place is out, but I'm not seeing a lot of vegan dishes at regular restaurants. This is for a celebration, so a little spendy is okay, but time will be a factor, so nowhere that'll take over an hour and a half. So far our only option is TWH Social, which has one vegan selection.

Keto and Vegan... that's a tough one for downtown. The Keto person eats meat then? Have you looked at the menus for Gilt and Cafe Pyrus? Crafty Ramen has just opened downtown, they have a place in Guelph that is very good. They can definitely make bowls that are vegan. Keto might be trickier but if you skip the noodles I think it'd work. You're going to a show at the Centre in the Square, I guess? So this may not be an option but if you expand your search beyond the core there's the Wooden Boat - Vietnamese food but they are very open to specialised diets (Vegan and Keto they can roll with). They are reasonably quick. Muya, an Ethiopian restaurant, is very good and does have Vegan options and I think some of their items my qualify as Keto. The issue will be that they are not quick.

Was today's Reddit thread looking for vegetarian/vegan options near Center in the Square from you? If not then you may find it useful.

The Grand Trunk Saloon is an interesting option - I wouldn't have pegged it for vegan-friendly but someone says it is, and you can get ribs or a 'bucket o' chicken' for the keto.

The Loloan Lobby Bar is also mentioned, it's a spendy restaurant in Uptown Waterloo but is not too far from Center in the Square if you're driving.

East African Cafe (on Ontario Street near Charles) may do the trick.

Their menu is at: https://www.eastafricancafe.com/menu
