Men's work shoes for plantar fasciitis, size 14?

I have a good friend who works many hours standing each day and also travels long haul by plane nearly weekly (think Korea one week, Europe the next). He has plantar fasciitis and size 14 feet. It's hard to find shoes big enough to fit him in the recommended brands mentioned in prior PF threads...most stop at 13. Plain black slip ons are ideal. He is tall, maybe 6'3", and moderately athletic. I got him some Superfeet insoles already, but please recommend whatever solutions you might use!

Allen Edmonds goes to size 15 (16, for some styles) and multiple widths: loafers & slip-ons.

Red Wing has insoles designed for plantar fasciitis that I use in all of my shoes (size 13). This, in combination with rotating between 3 pairs of work shoes, has been quite helpful.

My son has large feet, and we have had good luck buying from Hitchcock. They have up to size 16 in many (but not, unfortunately, all) different styles. He should take a look there.

As far as the plantar fasciitis goes, I had that at one time and found that a series of not-very-difficult exercises put it in remission. You can find these all over the web, but here is one site. I found that simply doing the standing calf stretch was enough for me, but your friend's mileage may vary.

VivoBarefoot makes a men's dress shoe in large sizes.

A post I made earlier may be of use to your friend.

Oh, and The Drifter Leather will make a shoe from an outline of your foot. I have a pair and they're excellent.

You seem to be on the Oregon Coast. Oddball and Keens Garage in Portland both advertise large sizes. Keens makes boots. A city with an NBA team is very likely to have large size clothing and shoes.

These Spencos may be too casual, but they go up to 14 and in my opinion are great for alleviating plantar fasciitis pain.
