Recommend the best sheets and comforter for our soon-to-be-delivered California king. I love soft and satiny/silky but not t shirt.

Best answer: Based on Wirecutter's recommendations, we purchased these and they are so soft and smooth to the skin. Wirecutter hasn't steered me wrong yet, so I'd say their recommendations are generally reliable.

Also, depending on your budget, Brooklinen linens are pretty special. We have their lightweight down comforter (we're in Southern California) and their Luxe Core sheet set.

Based on a previous question I asked, I purchased a comforter from The Company Store a while ago. My mom, who also loves feeling like she's sleeping on clouds, bought one for herself after sleeping with mine. Both comforters are still soft and in as good shape as they were when we first bought them years ago, so I'd say they're very durable.
