Electric Bike Newbie help

Hi everyone, wanted to find out first of any electric bicycle shops around the Kansas City metro area, any favorite shops, with tech support- and for those riders out there what brands and battery packages are your Favs . I'm not needing a foldable, just a solid bike with an excellent ride - for use around town or joyriding. Thanks for the help!

Midwest Cyclery looks promising. Good philosophy judging from their quotes in a local news story about e-bikes, and the brands they carry are some that my most enthusiastic local e-bike purveyor recommends. I've heard good things about Gazelle's e-bikes.

I've only ever visited KC, though, and hope there'll be someone actually local with more informed local bike shop opinions along.

I bought a Magnum Metro Electric Bike this year and I love it! I just use it for fun and exercise. It's given me zero problems and hours and hours of joy. There aren't many options for buying electric bikes where I live, so I feel like I got very lucky that this was one of the models that is available here. Good luck! You won't regret buying an e-bike!

Coming a little late to this discussion, but I just wanted to add that I love my Aventon Pace 500 bike. It's fairly inexpensive compared to other bikes with similar performance.

I see tons of Rad Power bikes around. I have limited experience with them, but they look nice.

I can't recommend an electric bike enough if the idea appeals to you. I've been commuting on mine every day and it's been a nice way to get some exercise without coming in to work too exhausted and sweaty
