Sand in Pelvic as in Radiology Finding - Looking for Specific Name

Hi, so a while back did some imaging - I believe it was CT - and the radiologist report noted that there was a form of calculi or something akin to *sand* in the pelvic area. It is apparently a rather common finding and in most cases benign.

I can't remember the name specifically - but it appears it is calcium in origin. Can you please help me find the name as it is important now in a diagnosis. Thank you!

In rare cases, gout can result in crystals of uric acid deposited in the pelvis, and given previous abnormalities in uric acid, I'd want to rule that out.

“Ground glass” appearance is sometimes seen on x-rays, but I think it’s a pulmonary finding. I’m throwing it out there just in case.
