Identifying a Short SF Story

What's the best forum for asking questions along the lines of "What's the sf short story where..." E.g. "What's the sf short story where an entomologist discovers a hive of intelligent ants that collect butterfly and moth eggs for him, with dire consequences?"

AskMe is pretty good in answering this kind of question. Sometimes the answer will show up in a couple of minutes.

I mean, AskMetaFilter usually gets an answer in like, 10 minutes. We love these questions.

It's probably "All Summer in A Day", which has been asked about at least 11 times on AskMe.

Best answer: The Sci-Fi Stack Exchange site is also great for this. Post with the story-identification tag.

I would imagine a large enough scifi group on Goodreads would work well. If your short story isn't sci-fi, then one with the equivalent genre.

Response by poster: Sci-Fi Stack for the win. "Doomsday Deferred" by Will Jenkins.

If you have Usenet access, rec.arts.sf.written is still limping along. They call these questions YASID (Yet Another Story ID).
