Acronis Backup File will not load?

On Acronis True Image 2017, I get "Failed to open item F \KarenPC_inc_b2s8_v1.tib"

This is the backup for my computer along with a couple of external hard drives. Acronis 2017 has discontinued tech support.

I'm hoping someone out there is fluent in Acronis! I've searched extensively online but with no success.

Listed as "More details":

"More information about this error and solutions may be available online in the Acronis Knowledge Base.
To access the online resource manually, enter the event code at: http://kb.acronis.com/errorcode/
Event code: 0x006400CC+0x006400E0+0x00AC0041+0x00AC0040+0x01AF0006+0x01AF0005+0x00040"

The Acronis Knowledge Base is a huge, unsearchable labyrinth of details.

Up until about ten days ago, I could easily open the backup file to get whatever I needed. Then, I must have pushed one wrong button somehow and now I'm locked out!

Any and all help will be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Not sure if this is your problem, but there seems to be a colon missing here: "F \KarenPC_inc_b2s8_v1.tib". It should read, "F:\KarenPC_inc_b2s8_v1.tib"

Response by poster: Oh, yes, indeed that is how it reads.

Without sitting down and looking at your system directly, it's a little hard to diagnose this problem.

It could be something simple, like the drive letters changed on your external hard drives. Are both external hard drives connected to the computer, powered-on, and visible in Windows Explorer? The Acronis program is looking for the backup on your "F:" drive. Can you verify that the "F:"drive is the correct drive, and that the KarenPC_inc_b2s8_v1.tib file exists on that drive?

Response by poster: Yes, it is correct and it does exist on the external backup list of files. But when I try to open it, I get the notification that "this file" with that name plus 677, "does not exist." So on the external hard drive, I did find the file with the 667 extension added, and now I am adding it to the Acronis Dashboard List. However, the file I found was just over 2G and was just a maintenance daily backup file. Why would the main file of 135 G not open and instead, I get an error message about the maintenance file?

Truly appreciate your help, Alex 1965!
