Looking for a play about three friends and a freak lightning accident?

I read about the work in a review a while back (maybe at least three years ago?). Of the plot, I remember there being three characters, two of whom have a special relationship to the third. It also features some kind of lightning-related event.

Of the review, I remember it criticising the small stage of the production not being well-suited to choreographed movement going on, and I think it alluded to another production of the same play that didn't have this problem.

The review also possibly mentioned a moat of water around the stage as a production element, but this part's hazy.

Also, possibly showed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, or some kind of arts festival.

Any help greatly appreciated!

Could it be August Strindberg's Creditors? From FringeReview UK 2019: "A Young Vic production of Creditors in 2015 made all three protagonists men, and that can work, though not the modish moat that sent the one lying in water sneezing throughout, drowning all other impressions."
