[NamingFilter] Name my divorce
June 5, 2019 11:17 PM   Subscribe

As of yesterday, I'm going through a divorce. I'm also a project manager, I enjoy doing it and I do it well. I'm getting ready to project-manage my divorce, but first, I need a really good name for this "project".

The name needs to be something that Todoist, Evernote and Asana won't have problems with.

TIA!

If you've worked on a lot of projects like I have, I bet you've worked on like a dozen called "project phoenix". Repurpose this hackneyed, classic project name.

Project:
Makeover
Restart
Exit
Drop kick (your ex far far out of your life)
Do over
Do Right (to yourself)
Move On
Bulldoze (your old marriage and life)
Vanish (make your marriage disappear)

Congratulations! When people tried to give me condolences for leaving my marriage wayback when, I had to explain that congratulations were in order. The sad stuff had happened way earlier. Now I was moving on to the good stuff.

If you don't mind being sacrilegious, "the great schism" would be my choice. Or, perhaps, "the lesser schism?"

If it's acrimonious, or you're just repressing rage about your dick of a STBX for the greater good, War of the Roses might be theraputic. Or hey, STBX would work too.
