Awesome ideas for awesome daycare staff

My baby's daycare is celebrating Week of the Young Child with a different theme for each day. Parents are encouraged to come up with ideas to celebrate staff on these themed days. I have some ideas, but I need more! Details below the jump.

Monday: Color day (we know staff's favorite colors). My ideas are footprints cut out of construction paper leading to the classroom, flowers for teachers, and/or enough balloon to fill the director's office.

Tuesday: Flash Forward (what you wish to be when you grow up). No ideas for this one.

Wednesday: Explore your Imagination (Disney/Movie/Cartoon Character). My idea is a movie theme - popcorn-themed containers with movie passes and popcorn/candy inside.

Thursday: Fur, Feathers, Scales, Oh My! (Dress as an Animal). No ideas for this one, but we do know that some staff have pets.

Friday: Let's Get Movin' (Athletic/Sports/Other)No ideas on this one either, though we do have staff's favorite sports teams.

Any creative ideas, MeFites? We are open to anything and everything! Cost is a factor, but we can figure that out. Ideas are the main goal right now. Thank you!

My immediate thought for treats for Thursday—goldfish crackers, teddy grahams, animal crackers, Swedish fish candy for the staff.

Friday: a sporty water bottle? Parents show up for a late afternoon dance party?

I love your idea for Monday. I would suggest if you don't have great ideas for everyday that it's okay. Maybe do something special on Monday and Friday?

My idea for Friday would be to buy lunch or breakfast for the staff and set it up with some themed decorations. Sports themed or dance themed tablecloths should be easy enough to find at a party store. The only other thing I could think of (which might cost too much) would be hiring a massage therapist to do mini massages for the staff throughout the day.

Please don't do the balloons...so much non eco-friendly waste.

Love the other ideas though!

Color Day: small bags of multi-colored jelly beans, something rainbow themed

As the child of an elementary grades teacher I would kindly implore you to please, please when it comes to food give them grown up food. A daycare worker has endless access to goldfish crackers. Any time a parent brought honest to god REAL MEAL FOOD as a teacher thank you gift my mom and her coworkers would rave about it, literally rave, for WEEKS. It's such an appreciated gesture to be fed nourishing warm food.

Theming can be in presentation and decor. The best way to celebrate teachers and childminder staff is 1) money and 2) meals.

for the animal day, have the kids from each class decorate a canvas tote bag (like sharpie makes decent fabric markers) with whatever animal they dressed as and give that as a gift to the teacher.

biodegradable balloons are a thing?

Response by poster: For the animal day, I thought of making little recipe books for the teachers. The kids can share their favorite recipe with their favorite animal. For example, Lauren's Leapin' Lemur Lasagna. Or something like that. How could I quickly assemble something like this? I was thinking a local copy shop could do a spiral bound little book, like a little 4x6 or something. Each teacher would get a little book of the kids' favorite recipes and it's animal themed. So, 12 kids x 4 books (there are 4 teachers).
