ISO a candy bar or flip phone with great GPS location for a senior

Looking for recommendations for a cell phone (bar or flip) with actual buttons that has excellent GPS location capability, to help family members locate a person with dementia. We’re in Canada.
Additional considerations: great sound (and mic) for calls, long battery life, simple interface.
There are a lot of products with a lot of claims made about them, apparently many don’t deliver. There are tons of lists out there, plenty of them are out of date.
Personal experiences are very welcome.
I think we can use unlocked phones, not sure about this, but let’s say it’s possible. So no restrictions that way for now.
TIA

Best answer: Wish I could help. The flip phones I'm familiar with are terrible--poor battery life, complicated interfaces. They were however, about the only ones on the market that suited the needs of the seniors in my life. I've never tried the GPS function on them, which is why I didn't bother to post initially.
I just wanted you to know what somebody in Canada actually read your post and wished they could help.
I have no experience at all with trackers.

So, I’m amending my question to ask if anyone’s had good experiences with any of these or related trackers. Thank you in advance.
