Who has today March 25, 2019 off as a holiday for Cesar Chavez' Birthday? In California? I know some agencies have next Monday off, but we see online that some are getting today off. It isn't the state or our local county as far as we can tell. thanks.

Data point: I work for the State of California (the CSU system), and I have Monday, April 1, off for César Chavez Day.

April 1 is Cesar Chavez day for LAUSD.

UC Berkeley has this Friday the 29th off. We always get Cesar Chavez Day on the last Friday of spring break.

April 1 is Cesar Chavez Day for the San Mateo County Community College District (as well as spring break).

It looks like Denver, Colorado celebrates it on the last Monday in March, ie today.

The University of California may celebrates it on the last Friday in March.

I hadn't thought about it till I read this question. I work for Rialto Unified in CA and we don't have his birthday off at all!

Your school district/county is allowed to pick Cesar Chavez or Columbus, but not both. At least that’s how it worked in Hayward and Humboldt when I was there.

What confused us is that the LA County COURTS don’t seem to have the day off.

The County of San Diego has April 1, Monday off. We were all at work yesterday the 25th.
