Please help me expand my game addiction to my Android phone.

I am addicted to this ancient PC game called Tip Top.. I love it so much, but it only plays on a PC.

I am looking for similar games for my Android phone. I understand that the structure of Tip Top is a simple matching 3 or more items, but Tip Top is so aesthetically pleasing to me! The slot machine, the music! It is so...retro cool. Other games would not have to have that aesthetic, but it would be good if they had something interesting about the, so, for example, those gem games — I hate them. Also Tip Top has the added dimension of the objects coming UP at you as well as com8ng down — that’s what makes it strategically difficult.

Just to note: I have no interest in games that tell stories, role playing, Mario or anything like that, not interested in enraged birds, etc. One more data point: I used to be addicted to Zumba and mastered it so it’s not fun for me anymore (also on PC). And I know about Words With or Without Friends, Scrabble, Boggle, etc., but that’s not what I’m looking for. Also games where you manipulate complex shapes, no....Soduko— bleccch. No farms please, no candy.

Thank you in advance!

Response by poster: Zuma , not Zumba. Sorry for other typos. Bad phone keyboard + ancient eyes.

Two Dots is very popular here and in my friend groups.

PopCap games were the best! Rocket Mania! Alchemy Peggle! Actually, Peggle is available on Android. Is that something you have tried? I was about to suggest Candy Crush - I feel like it has a similar level of polish and design, if not the same aesthetic. I'm curious what it is about Bejeweled (I assume that's the gem game you are talking about) that you hate? It's another PopCap creation, and I would think it would be right up the alley of someone that liked TipTop. I feel like if I had a better handle on why you don't like things I might be able to make better recommendations.

Response by poster: I actually love Super Gem Drop and even recently purchased it on some arcane website but can't figure out how to get it onto my PC. I LOVE the music (haunting!). But Bejeweled, I think, has lousy music and there is a supersaturated color-vulgarity to its appearance. And am I wrong in experiencing it as less complex than Tip Top? I've never tried Candy Crush, I don't think.

But yes, POPCAP GAMES are so GREAT!

I even loved, "back in the day," (an expression from back in the day that seems to have come back) Ms. Pacman with the joystick. What a great game! And there was another game like Zuma but with an Egyptian name I think that I played until there was no fun in it anymore -- oh I found it -- Luxor.

So I like it when it's continuous action, and you're shooting at things, but you don't have to work that hard figuring out strategy (for example, I cannot play chess. I can't think ahead like that.)

Thanks for suggestions so far! I looked at Two Dots and found I had downloaded it at some point but never got into it.

I've never heard of Peggle and will try it now!!!

So hard to say what gets somebody addicted and what doesn't, isn't it?
