Sending something other than flowers

My brother has to have emergency surgery on Friday. I live in another country and can't be there but want to send him something so he knows he is in my thoughts.
He wouldn't appreciate flowers as a "good luck / thinking of you" gesture.... what is a good equivalent for a man that can be sent today and will be received tomorrow?
Food delivery - if he lives in the US in a major city, this can easily be done.

When I was in a different country than my sister and her kids and needed to show my love, I ordered her a couple pizzas and got her a month-long subscription to a movie service so she could recover at home and veg out with some movies and TV.

Depending on the surgery he may not be able to eat regular foods before or after...

I've given gift certificates for frozen meal services. This is good for people recuperating at home, and the person can order whatever he/she wants. The only one I've used is Veestro, which was a big hit. It's vegan, but there are others that aren't.
Also, Zingerman's delivers food throughout the US. Their food and their customer service are both exceptional. I know someone who worked taking phone orders for them, and employees are really expected to help in whatever way they can. They even have a Get Well box.

A month subscription to some "unlimited" reading material like Marvel Unlimited or Kindle Unlimited?

Depending on his recovery, if reading or watching TV is tiring but he enjoys listening to audiobooks, you can gift a membership to Audible.

I've had surgery recently.
The two things I appreciated the best were:
1. Amazon Prime.
2. A Paid Spotify account.
If they're in a place where Amazon Prime is a thing, I think that'd be appreciated. Because sometimes, you just need a random thing *now*, and that'll alleviate a fair bit of stress over shipping, etc. Plus, Amazon Prime comes with a music and video streaming service.
I also really appreciated Spotify, because there were some days where all I could do was listen to calming music. They also have a fair amount of podcasts, if that's more their style.
