Best seat under the Big (Apple) Top?

Have you been to the Big Apple Circus? Can you tell me the best place to sit?

We are taking our family of four to see the Big Apple Circus for the first time for our daughter's 8th birthday and are considering splurging on front row tickets, but can't decide if it will be worth it. Our other thought is to get seats in the first row of the mezzanine. Either way, we are thinking one of the center sections will be best. If you have been to the Big Apple Circus, please tell me what seats you would want if you were me! Thanks!

I have been with my young kids. It is a small theater. First row isn’t necessary. First row mezzanine is totally great.

Yeah, it's not huge. You'll be fine in a close row in the mezzanine.

Agree with the above. And it's basically in the round, so no need to be in the center. Either of the sections adjacent to the center would be entirely equivalent, and I think basically the entire semicircle opposite the back (that is, about 2/3 of the seating area) is just as good. The advantage of the front row is that - at least in past years - there has been some audience interaction, and you're much more likely to participate in that if you're in the front row. But it's a pretty steep premium.

Response by poster: Thanks all! I was stuck going back and forth and now I feel confident that I can get us good seats without paying the front row premium!
