Buying tickets to a concert in Portugal

I want to buy tickets to a sold-out concert at Altice Arena in Lisbon, Portugal. Can you recommend a reputable reseller? I've seen Viagogo, but also see mixed reviews. Also, more generally, do you have any warnings specific to Altice Arena relating to buying tickets from a reseller? For example, I've seen warnings that if your name doesn't match that of the original purchaser, you may be refused entry. I'd be traveling from outside Portugal to see the concert, so appreciate all tips and advice. Thanks

Strongly advise against using Viagogo, there have been many many complaints against sellers on their platform for selling tickets that don't exist, selling the same tickets multiple times, and massively overcharging for events that aren't even sold out. The New Zealand Commerce Commission is currently taking a case against them.

I would consider hitting the Facebook event page for the event and trying to buy a ticket off a fellow fan (though noting that scammers often hit these pages too - I would go for a cash exchange for the ticket as you enter the venue, but given that you're travelling that might be difficult).

Another option is waiting for a late release of tickets on the venue/official seller website. I did this recently for a David Byrne show that had been sold out for months, by hitting the page every day I luckily got into a late release. (Those two points aren't in Portugal though).

I'd also check the venue website in Portuguese, if you haven't - this is based on me traveling to Portugal for a show that was showing as sold out on the band's English page, but wasn't sold out when I dug around on the venue site.

I agree... no viagogo. They are a scam.
