Building an individual basketball player development program

Where can I find good practice routines/drills for developing individual basketball fundamental skills? e.g. dribbling, layups, passing, etc. All around game improvement is the goal to help improve enough to make varsity next fall. I'd like to build a practice schedule that can be done daily with metrics to track improvement. Something that can be done at home (in a driveway with hoop on garage) by yourself. Online mentors/coaching? Also, where can I get more information about improving the 'head game' part? Outwitting opponents, strategies, tactics, etc. Books, videos? Thank you

Some of these things (passing, defense) are difficult, if not impossible, to practice on your own. Others (strategy) are things that vary from coach to coach, and it won't help you to learn one system if your coach uses a completely different one.

Things like shooting and dribbling can be practiced on your own, but specifics will depend on your situation. Are you a freshman or a senior? Have you played before? How good is your team? What position do you play? It doesn't make sense to suggest advanced post-up drills if you're 5'8" and your team has an all-state center coming back.

In general, YouTube will be your best bet. Stack.com has some good stuff too. But answering the above questions will help be more specific.

Your best bet is Breakthrough Basketball . There are a good number of drills on the site accompanied by videos. A large number of them target team practices, but there are many individual drills as well.

I’m not familiar with it but Steph Curry has a series on these skills on Master Classs

Cheap tip. Practice shooting. A lot. Like hundreds of shots a day a lot.

I haven't tried this myself, but I would love to....there's an incredibly cool iOS app called HomeCourt that uses AI to improve your shooting game through very detailed AI analysis. It's not free, but might work for you. https://www.homecourt.ai
