This picture of the band Broken Social Scene looks like it was taken on the platform of a railway station - the visible part of the sign reads "ewes Street". What's the full name of the station (if it is a station?), and where in the world is it?

Best answer: Note the distinctive white lettering and font on black background by which MTA signage may universally be recognized. There are no elevated train tracks (=outdoor stations) in Manhattan south of 96th St. anymore but still a number in the outer boroughs.
