For a short story: if you could magically combine any 2-3 (non-living) household objects in order to create a cool/wacky hybrid of the two, what would you combine?
Example: a desk fan with a skateboard makes a turbine-powered skateboard.

The comic strip mashup "Square Root of Minus Garfield" came up with one today, a combination refrigerator/spa, which was based on an original Garfield comic with a combination refrigerator/bed. I love when the Square Rooters improve on a less-than-awesome concept.

Coffee maker and alarm clock, because I'd be much more enthusiastic about waking up if my alarm clock automatically generated a cup of steaming hot coffee.

Telephone + camera.
It's been done, I know, but (if you didn't grow up with them) they're the very definition of a "wacky hybrid" of two obviously unrelated items. Then again, I would never in my wildest dreams have imagined that people would some day want to carry a phone on their person 24/7.

Some kind of rotisserie bed thing that sort of gently clamps me between two mattresses and slowly rotates through the night. No more sore shoulders or other weird sleep-pose maladies.

Vacuum/escalator/stairs -
Basically my carpeted stairs work like an escalator and each time the carpet goes “under” the stairs it gets vacuumed - or hell, put all my rugs on a conveyor belt type system that is sunk into the floor where it makes it trivially easy to have them cleaned by rotating the conveyor.

Bath tub + stairlift = by the time the lift gets you to the top of the stairs, you'd have already had a nice long bath and be ready for bed.

Instant pot plus refrigerator, so I can fill it with raw chicken in the morning and come home to delicious cooked chicken in the evening!
