I'm going to have a grandson

OK, technically it isn't 200% clear yet that it's a boy but I saw the scan.
This will be the most spoiled boy ever in the universe. I love him already.
BUT I am not familiar with boys. I have girls. I also have a foster boy and I love him and there is never an issue, but still I feel I could do even better. And I want this special boy to be the implosion of all love that has ever been.
[Friends, understand that I am in love. I've seen an ultrasound. I love my kids and my fosterkids and I will spoil them endlessly as long as I live. This is just such a big issue for me. Maybe the knowledge you give me can make me a better mom for my beloved foster boy too]

This post was deleted for the following reason: Heya! Congrats and I totally get it you're kinda verklempt with the everything, but there isn't really a workable question here so far. If you end up sorting out a more specific framing of what you're looking for guidance and advice on or what concerns you have, it'd be fine to regroup and give this another shot then. -- cortex
Response by poster: And your question is... ?
Honestly I don't know. Maybe there is something different for boys, maybe there isn't. I have no idea.

Baby boys are humans, too. You will be fine. The trick is to look at the kid first and to (re)act like your gut tells you. There should be no issues.

I'm a girl, and I have five sisters, and when I was pregnant I was DYING to have a girl because I know nothing about boys. Except, you guessed it -- I had a boy. BOYS are DELICIOUS and you will just have to pounce on him with love, grandma, and take it from there. You're gonna do great.
