1) Are there any internet payment methods besides PayPal that are gaining market share? 2) Are you aware of any web services that handle the fulfilment side of selling intellectual property (e.g. download & payment collection)? If it makes any difference, I'm in Canada and server is Unix and in USA. Thanks!

There are lots of online credit card processors. One is 2checkout. Basicaly, what they do is let someone enter their credit card info, and they charge the card for you. It's not for micropayments, though. There's also ccbill which is expensive because it will work with porno providers.

delmoi mentions ccbill; the porno providers generally have a rough time with that company (har har), and they are best avoided.

Digital River does the kind of thing you're asking about, ecommerce and digital order fulfilment, but last time I checked they were *very* expensive (I recall a 50/50 split of income). I think there are some cheaper companies that are used by shareware developers, but I can't remember the details.

As far as online poker - neteller and firepay are very popular, since paypal can't be accepted at any of those sites.

Not sure how much market share they have, but they're very well known in the poker community and are trustworthy.
