Looking for large robust jet plane toys

Sounds odd, but I can’t seem to find large scale, robust, semi realistic, jet plane toys.
Airplane mad six year old really wants to get large airplane toy for Christmas - preferably one that resembles a larger jet (767, A380, etc). We brought the Playmobil 5261 Passenger / Cargo plane set which is perfect, but after several years is finally played out and is missing many parts - and is no longer produced / is only available from third parties at “collector’s” prices. Looking for something similar - semi realistic - and large as possible. We love LEGO but the plane needs to be more robust and be able to survive being dropped / relatively rough and frequent play. The current Playmobil planes (5619 and 5395) are fairly small and don’t seem to excite him. Any other options people know of? It seems that most options are smaller toddler toys or very small scale die cast.

If military themed toys are okay consider this toy bomber that is a decent size.

Response by poster: Thanks. Non-military aircraft is what we are looking for (we are trying to be a no-war toy family). I went through the Museum of Flight Store - which has lots of fun stuff, but not really something like I'm after other than the Daron type collectibles. I suspect I'll need to take another look at those - most of the ones I've seen before have looked very fragile and likely to break within minutes of being played with.
Seems like its just not something anyone really makes at the moment :-(
