I'm looking for a paycheck "simulator"

We're thinking about moving from California to Texas, two states with vastly different tax regimes. What I'm trying to find is a rough paycheck "simulator" where I could input my salary, maybe a few variables and then see what my actual take-home amount would be.
I know it won't be fully comprehensive, but it'll help ballpark what to ask for salary wise.
There are also cost of living calculators (random URL) that might provide additional numbers.

Paycheck City. It's reasonably accurate.

Another vote for Paycheck City.

Texas doesn't have a state income tax, so just in terms of your take-home pay any federal calculator will do you.
The bigger differences will be outside of your paycheck, like how the *extremely* high property taxes will change your calculations about how much house to look for.

Take home should be easy as there's no state income tax. Property tax is completely dependant on where you live in TX and can be very high in places like Austin.

Sorry, I know this is somewhat off topic but just want to weigh in on Austin property taxes. My mom’s house there is worth about what my house in Seattle is worth (~$700K) but her taxes are fully 3 times what I pay- about $12,000 year.
