What are some TV series that explore the coming of age/teenage origin story of a well-known fictional character, other than SMALLVILLE and YOUNG INDIANA JONES CHRONICLES? Thanks!

Best answer: Star Wars: the Clone Wars cartoon is sort of a coming-of-age story of Anakin Skywalker.

Best answer: Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles is, among other things, John Connor's coming-of-age story. One of the underlying themes of the show is the problems of parenting (though not all the parents are human, nor are all the children).
