Where is the best place in SF to buy live crabs? I have a hunger for some tasty seafood.

Chinese markets have them for cheap. I know that the markets on Clement St @ 5th often do. I don't know the rest. I'm in the east bay and get them from 99 Ranch Market.

I hear you can get a case of crabs down by the docks. Seriously, the piers have fish markets, no?

They are kinda out of season though.

If you're near the Mission, Sun Fat Seafood on Mission@23rd is the best in the area. They have live Dungeness for $2.99 lb, about the same as the prices on Clement.
