Looking for a new PCP, NYC area

I live in NYC and have HIP Prime HMO insurance (for city of NY employees). I'm looking for a new PCP and a new practice in general because the one I have is very hard to get in touch with to get same day appointments. Does anyone have a doctor in this network they like? I'm primarily looking for a woman/woman of color, but I'm open to anyone that's great.

I have been very happy with Dr. Michael Bagner. The quality of his staff can be...variable, but I always feel that he takes my concerns seriously, including chronic pain issues that are often dismissed by doctors, even female ones. He also respects my treatment decisions. There is a female NP in the same practice who does the Pap smear/pelvic exam.

(I'm not a city employee but I suspect we're in plans with similar networks.)

Dr. Karten has an office on Broadway and 187th in Washington Heights and offers an old-fashioned family doctor experience--lots of time to talk, his wife is his assistant, etc. https://www.nyp.org/physician/ikarten

Where in NYC are you? I found a doctor at AdvantageCare whom I really like, but she's at the Kings Highway location. NYC is so big.
