Looking for good chocolate shop in Boston.

Anyone know of a good chocolate store in the Boston/ Cambridge area?
OK, I wasn't going to get my wife any chocolate for Valentine's Day (she still has most of the Godiva truffles I bought her for Christmas. She is the master of restraint), but I am now considering it.
I almost always get her Godiva, and she does like it, but I'd like to get her something different this time. I was hoping to find some Jacques Torres in Boston, but no luck. Anyone know of a comparable chocolate shop?

Seconding the L.A. Burdick recommendation. She'll die in spasms of cuteness if you get her a box of chocolate mice. (And yes, you *must* get yourself some hot chocolate.)
Also, not chocolate nor in Boston/Cambridge, but Athans in Brookline (right at the corner of Beacon and Washington) sells truly delightful baklava (some of which has chocolate in it). They do also sell chocolate but I can't vouch for the quality as I always went straight for the baklava. And the gelato there is stunning.

Yes, Burdick's, without question.
There's also a place in Somerville call The Belgian Truffle House that makes incredible chocolates.

I'll fourth Burdick's and their hot chocolate while you're there.

I fourth Burdicks, but I also want to mention Teuscher on Newbury Street. Their Champagne Truffles are amazing.

Response by poster: Thanks. I guess with so many votes, Burdicks wins. Those chocolate mice and chocolate penguins look like a lot of fun. Excellent suggestions all. (And if for some reson Burdicks doesn't work out, Belgian Truffle House is kind of on the way home. Thanks BrianK.)
To Harvard Square I go then.

Burdick's is definitely great, and would be my eventual choice.
That being said, I've also had some tasty treats from Teuscher Chocolates of Switzerland on Newbury St. As I remember, they were pretty expensive, but delicious.

Perhaps a little late, but they do sell Burdick's chocolate at South End Formaggio on Shawmut Street. Or at least they did when I lived there; call first to be sure.
