I inherited the casual office candy jar. Tell me your favorite Amazon-able individually wrapped candies!

Looking for candies more interesting than your standard drugstore variety. We've had these Chimes Ginger Chews in the past (delicious!), and I've refilled with Hi-Chews but they're running low.

Thank you!

I lost a crown to ginger chews. Sorry if they are not interesting, but Peppermint Life Savers are may favorite office candy.

I love Pearsons's Mint Patties. The fancy massage place I go to always has a bowl of them out, they are amazing.

I had those strawberry goo filled hard candies for a while and they were a hit. People called them as "church lady candies" which amused me.

If you want to be broke but adored: giandujotti.

The key Amazon search term is "asian candies" or check out your local Asian grocery store.

A couple more suggestions:
- guava candies
- these chewy White Rabbit candies
- Haw Flakes (I grew up eating these, possibly an acquired taste)

Seconding the Japanese gummies linked above (SO GOOD) and the suggestion to wander around a local Asian grocery store.

Root beer barrels are the best hard candy and you will be a criminal if you don't include them in a candy jar

Kopiko! and I don't even drink coffee.

Sugar-free mints and the easy choice is LifeSavers. Sugar is really bad for people, and the candy jar is a constant test of willpower, which comes in finite doses. Maybe peppermint patties occasionally as a treat. The provider of mints is an office hero.

My great grandma got my mom into hopjes who got me into them. They're coffee flavored and not very sweet. Interesting and different but not bizarre, very retro. Mom just about cried when I sent her a package a few years ago after a failed search for them pre-amazon.

These little YumEarth fruit-flavored hard candies are great; the flavors are tangy, natural, and not too sweet. I first tried them because a co-worker used to keep a dish on her desk. They also make lollipops, including a truly fantastic chili mango flavor that sadly isn't available in non-lollipop form.

Kopiko is basically the Indonesian version of hopjes. (cultural appropriation anyone?) But what you really want is Napoleons!

These Dove chocolates were my go-to back when had the candy jar.

I get them at my local drugstore when they go on sale; they come in packs of single-flavor in addition to combo packs like this.

Milk Candy! The original and green tea flavors of the hard candy are both absolutely delicious - creamy and not too sweet.

They individually wrap prunes now, too!

Also Heavenly Organics pomegranate honey patties. (They come in other flavors, including double chocolate, and mint, but pomegranate's the best.)

I love durian candy! This one time I had a sore throat and I ate durian candy and drank pisco and it was soothing and drove off curious onlookers.

Seconding the guava candies. It's the little green hard candies that some Thai restaurants give out when they bring the check. Don't pay the crazy amazon price on the link though, I got a big bag for less than $2 at my local Asian market.

Also, UHA 8.2 milk candies are great.

Woohoo great suggestions, thanks! Durian candy gave me a laugh, I like my coworkers too much to do that to them, but maybe I'll keep a bag in my car to throw at the drivers who cut in line on the bay bridge when I drive to work.
