Symbols of voice, opinion, and/or being heard

I'm looking for tattoo ideas that would serve as a reminder that I have a voice and deserve to be heard.

Coming out of a marriage where I feel I lost my ability to speak freely or voice concerns without being dismissed (or worse). I want a tattoo (prob on my wrist) to symbolize my reclaiming my voice, to help me remember that my needs and opinions have equal value, and to make sure I never allow my voice to be taken again.

The only symbol I can come up with is a megaphone, and I'm not entirely sold on that.

Requirements:
- somehow represents having your voice heard, being strong and empowered, demanding respect, etc.
- positive, not angry or negative
- nothing too detailed as it will need to be small enough to go on my wrist
- I prefer just black, but am open to colour if the tattoo absolutely warrants it
- bonus points if it somehow involves a bumblebee

Best answer: Perhaps a soundwave of you saying "I have a voice" or "I deserve to be heard".

You could get the sound wave pattern of you saying, "My Voice Matters."

On the other hand, you could get a tattoo of Bumblebee the Transformer who lost his voice but was still a vital member of the team.

I've always wanted something incorporating a bumblebee and the phrase "earned my stripes" but then Katy Perry stole it but I want it anyway.

A speech bubble? You could put a bee inside, or have the bubble coming from the bee.

Best answer: You could get multiple small bumblebees tattooed on your wrist. A herd of bees. They will be your bee herd.

A lung or two. Your voice is your birthright!

How about a stylized diagram of a bee waggle dance? The round dance traces an interesting pattern.

I thought maybe a flower from the Language of Flowers, with a bumblebee on it. But it’s hard to find anything that quite matches the brief — there are things like ‘boldness’ ‘confidence’ ‘courage’ ‘truth’ & ‘eloquence’ though.

A musical note to represent your voice? I think the bee herd is awesome, however.

Related but different: a flame or candle or lamp to symbolize all that you are and how you will never again hide your light under a bushel basket (“this little light of mine, I’m gonna let it shine”), etc.

Best answer: I've always liked punctuation tattoos, myself; might a quiver of exclamation points, a la "!!!" convey your deserve-to-be-heard-ed-ness?
