Looking for used bookstores in the LA area with big romance selection

Every so often I take my friends to a new part of Los Angeles to look at a used bookstore with a good used romance selection. This town has lots of great used bookstores and it's fun using this as a jumping-off point to explore a new part of the city we're not familiar with.

We have another 'bookventure' field trip coming up this Saturday. And this time I'm out of ideas. We've done The Last Bookstore in downtown LA, The Ripped Bodice in Culver City, the Bookman in Orange, and Dave's Olde Book Shop in Redondo Beach. I've suggested the Iliad in North Hollywood, but it doesn't have a dedicated romance section like the others do.

For the record, I live in Pasadena, and my friends live downtown LA and Westchester.

Any ideas, Hive Mind?

I think The Book Rack in Arcadia has a romance room.

I don't know how up to date it is, but there are a few on the Smart Bitches map that you haven't mentioned. They may be moved or closed, but it's worth a look.

The Book Cellar has a Romance section, but it is not big. Putting together a half-day (or full!) of FoL bookstores might be fun though.

Vroman's is on that list, local to Pasadena: "Vroman's has a romance section that is commensurate with the rest of the store, and it's clearly stocked by someone who knows and loves the genre..."
