Podcast Player for Private Feeds

If you're listening to Slate Plus podcasts using a podcast app on android, please tell me what app you're using and what process you followed to add the private feeds

I subscribe to Slate Plus and would like to download and listen to their podcasts, but I can't find an android podcast app that will support private feeds.

Have you tried Downcast? I use it on iphone to listen to Slate Plus podcasts.

I use Doggcatcher. You can add a feed using an rss link (that you can get from the slate plus podcast site) and then enter a username and password under credentials in the advanced section of the feed options. This page on the slate site has instructions for several apps on Android and iOS: here

I use Podkicker Pro. I've tried several podcast apps, and it's the one that makes the most sense to me. You can go in and change the settings for each feed individually, like whether to download episodes automatically and how many of them to keep downloaded at a time. There's also an option to only sync when connected to wifi, which is nice if you're paying for data.

I don't subscribe to Slate podcasts, but I access a few private feeds through Patreon.

Best answer: I subscribe to Slate Plus and use Beyond Pod. You go in to add a podcast, click on the Square with arrow at the top of the acreen and select "enter feed address" and you can paste in the custom url.

I have my Slate Plus RSS feed subscribed in DoggCatcher as well as iTunes on Windows.
