Legal precedent for corporation being sued for SHARING Facebook video?

Media law question! Is there any precedent for a corporation being sued for SHARING a licensed video on Facebook (not publishing it, it but sharing it from another account that published it?).
We didn't cover this in 2008 or so, when I took media law in college.
Where does one research the legalities of a corporation (like a news station) *sharing* viral video content on Facebook?

Just another perspective -- [on preview, I'm assuming from your wording that you're concerned with protecting the corporation] -- whether or not there is "any precedent for a corporation being sued" doesn't matter a whole lot. If a copyright owner wants to sue, they will sue. For that reason, the answer to your question "where does one research the legalities" is for the corporation to contact their legal counsel. They're a news station, so they must have lawyers, right?
