Are these two LP gas regulators for a gas grill the same?

I've got a LP gas grill from North America but I'm in the Netherlands. The US grill comes with a type 689 gas regulator. The grills here in the Netherlands have type 714 gas regulators. Are these the same? (other than the size of the fitting for the gas bottle) If they are the same, then I can just buy an adapter (like this one: link )

If it helps, I've got a Weber Spirit Classic E-310 (link)

I actually got the hose and regulator for holland from Weber NL but the, duh, bolts are metric instead of inches.

Response by poster: I ended up getting a replacement regulator like this one link (they were actually on sale at the local Praxis)

....but the end was also metric (and the US one was inches) and so I cut the regulator from the tube and attached it to the original tube that came with the BBQ using a screw type hose clamp. Seems to be working great.
