Looking for replacement for obsolete WordPress theme

I'm on the board of directors for a non-profit, and it turns out that our WordPress website is using a theme which is no longer supported, BusyBee. So we'll have to migrate to a new one.

Unfortunately I don't know much about WordPress, or how much work is involved in replacing a theme.

Our initial question is, what theme should we migrate to? Ideally it wouldn't look too different from the existing site, and wouldn't be too painful to do the migration. Free is preferred, but we can pay a modest fee if needed.

Our current theme doesn't support mobile. I don't know if it's easy to find a theme supporting both mobile and desktop these days.

Is this a do-it-yourself kind of job, or do we need to hire someone to migrate the site?

Hire someone. They can pick a new theme for you and get everything sorted out.

This is absolutely a hire someone situation.

I do this kind of thing for a living and donate some time every month to organizations that serve a social mission. MeMail me if you'd like to talk further.

As part of the search for hiring someone, you could post something on MeFi Jobs, to catch the eye of any WordPress-savvy MeFites who could help. (Apologies if this is too obvious)
