how to unlink iDevices on a shared iCloud account?

My family and I share an iCloud account, with several iDevices between us. Unfortunately, this means my photos were being synced to other devices without me knowing it. Their photos are also synced to my devices, and my devices sometimes get missed calls from people who call their devices, and app downloads are synced between devices. How can I make these information leaks stop?

Ideally, I would like to not have to delete all my photos or apps, or wipe my devices. I would like to not have ANY information transferred or accessible between devices on the same iCloud account. I am fine with making a new iCloud account.

On my devices, I've gone to Settings > Photos and turned off "iCloud Photo Library," "My Photo Stream," and "iCloud Photo Sharing." This might mean that my new photos are no longer being synced to their devices. However, I can't find any information on how to delete all my old photos (that may already have been synced to their devices) from their devices without having to delete them all from my devices. I also don't know how to make the call or app syncing stop, or how to stop their photos from being synced one-way to my devices. Any suggestions?

It looks like iCloud doesn't have a web interface for me to check what the "combined photo library" looks like.

Can you give each person their own iCloud account but link them together as Family?

Best answer: I was recently in the same situation (but on purpose). Odinstream has it - family sharing is what you want to do.

Wen you take the other devices and sign them out of iCloud, the devices will automatically delete all photos that were connected to your account. Only the photos taken on those devices will remain.
