Android Youtube Player Recommendation?

Are there any decent standalone Youtube players for Android tablets that can play a channel's videos in order, and pick up where last paused?

I've started watching SmarterEveryDay while doing cardio, and want to be able to pause and pick up where I left off the next day. Ideally I'd like it to automatically play the videos in order, starting at 1, but no idea if that's possible.

Google's Youtube player is, as all things Google, user-antagonistic. It seems to want to repeat the same 3 most recent videos from the channel.

I've searched the web (clickbait listicles), Google App Store (it's, well, Google), and AskMeFi (couldn't see any recentish questions asking for specifically this.)

Am I trying to find something that doesn't exist? Alternately, is there some other way to achieve this on an Android tablet?

I think NewPipe (available on F-Droid) can do this.
