I want to make cookies this afternoon. I have all your standard baking ingredients EXCEPT I only have a quarter cup of brown sugar and no chocolate chips. Hit me with your recipes please!

Biscochitos are another twist on sugar cookies, but anise seeds are not to everyone's liking. Note that this recipe makes a ton, but it's the closest the one that was passed down to me that I could find. I usually substitute butter for the lard... sorry, Grandma! And when I think of those, I also think of Mexican Wedding Cake cookies. Finally, I don't know if any of their ingredients are considered standard, but what about Rice Krispie Treats?
