Chinese, Korean etc. Sci fi shows on viki.com

So, I just discovered viki.com and the show Die Now, about people stuck in a dangerous VR game. I loved it. What else should I watch on there?
The sci fi tag by itself isn‘t a lot of use for what I want.
I‘d love a show with interesting characters, clever and not overly focussed on romance.
For instance, Moorim School seemed interesting, but there was so much baffling Teen Idol type stuff going on in the first episode that it eclipsed the interesting bits (maybe I should continue?)
I prefer sci fi, but in a pinch I don‘t mind historical Chinese fantasy. But I‘m finding it hard to judge what‘s going to be intelligent and engaging and not shlock.

Response by poster: That actually does sound very cool, thanks!

Signal is a police procedural with a bit of a sci fi element.

Best answer: I've seen the first few episodes of "Ghost", and loved it. A nice blend of mystery, police procedural, computers, technology, etc.

I've never seen the Korean version, but I absolutely love Liar Game - mystery/thriller about people being locked in and forced to compete and betray each other for money.

Nirvana in Fire is /amazing./ Stunning writing, acting, set design, and costumes, tons of interesting conspiracy and mind games, just exceptionally crafted and well done. Very grounded in ancient China and a beautiful example of historical fantasy. My mother has watched it two times and I've watched it completely in a two week period. We both are merciless watchers and are really picky about TV. For the record, my tastes skew towards sci-fi, and my other highly recommended TV shows are Westworld and American Gods.
