Can you name this movie with a one-word clue?

"Always!"

Please help me stop thinking about this:

Some movie (that could possibly be a cartoon, although I don't think so) with a plucky heroine (possibly Reese Witherspoon, or someone like her) and somebody says something to her (regretfully, I have no idea of the context) and she responds by saying, "Always!" in a very perky tone, possibly with a shrug of the shoulders.

I tried googling and it's just impossible and I am going a little bit bonkers over it.

Does not ring a bell offhand but maybe this Advanced IMDB search (for the word always in their quotes section) could help jog your memory?

I was going to say Harry Potter, but I don’t really think of Severus Snape as a Reese Witherspoon type per se.

He’s known for his moxie, though.

If it's Reese, I'll bet it's from "Election."

Response by poster: OH THANK GOODNESS, I FIGURED IT OUT.

Hairspray, the 2007 version. Plucky heroine, yes! (but not exactly Reese Witherspoon)

Tracy: You can't have your own show, fine, you'll come dance with us.
Maybelle (laughs): Honey. You been dozing off during History?
Tracy: Yes, always.
(with a little shrug)

I'll mark this as resolved and then we can all get on with our lives. Thanks to everyone who gave a suggestion!

Funny I was totally hearing Julia Roberts with that one. Eat pray love.

"You want a Xanax?"
"Always."
