Looking for the name of an out of business shop in Portland, ME.

I'm asking for a friend. Apparently it was named partly after Wallis Simpson. It was called Wallis Something, and I guess they had a blog my friend followed.

Google comes up with a clothing store named Wallis Girl.

Best answer: It was called Wallis Girls and it was on Free Street, I believe. About where the Maine Surfer's Union and Sur Lie are now. With a little more looking, found a google books results showing it was at 11 Free St.

Fun fact: named after Wallis Simpson.

Best answer: And last one: it was a clothing store that grew out of a personal shopping service or something? Run by two women, opened in about 2003/4 and closed a few years later.
