Within the past 10-15 years the Museum School in Boston had a gallery show for a recently deceased (?) artist. I’m trying to remember her name.
She was a Black woman known for textiles and graphic design, and she was best known for work she did in the 1930s and 40s. She attended the Museum School in the 20s, and I believe she went to a high school with a focus on arts curriculum. She lived a long life and died in the early 2000s.
