Headhunter for mid-career composer/orchestrator

Looking for a headhunter to help place a mid-careeer composer/orchestrator. He's been successful working on a contract basis with Big Name companies but would like to do more US film/tv. He's in LA and works primarily in LA and NYC. He's tried working peer networks and connections, and was wondering if there are reverse headhunters for this kind of thing?

He is prepared to pay some sort of initial fee then a substantial percentage of his first contract(s) or year of employment if the headhunter is successful (a friend has described doing something similar in a very different industry, so he thought that might be a possibility)

Please assume he is working his social networks, has great recommendations/references, has done a modest amount of work in film, and has the necessary skills and experience to be successful. He knows there are tons of people who want to do the same thing he does and he's grateful to have been one of the lucky ones that makes his entire living from music already. Thanks for any advice.

I’m pretty sure the word/job you’re looking for is “agent” or “manager” (as in artist management).

Is he looking for an inhouse job, or contract gigs?
