Have you used Hancock Vitality life insurance?
I am looking into life insurance plans and I'm interested in the Hancock Vitality life insurance plan. I'm curious about personal experiences with using the fitness tracker and how much of a discount you earned based on work you put in.
On one hand I'm seeing that you can get immediate discounts on the fitness tracker, but I'm seeing conflicting information on how much of a discount you get on your policy or the time frame you have to commit to fitness in order to receive those discounts (13% a year, is what I think I saw).
Another question: I am interested in using the Apple Watch to track fitness, but I don't have an apple phone nor do I really feel like switching. I do have several apple products such as an ipad and macbook. I don't want the watch in order to do phone/chat technologies so does that the lack of an iPhone really matter? I do not currently have a fitness tracker, but I'm interested in one that will work with swimming, running, biking.
Finally, I have just started researching life insurance polices and don't really have much to compare in terms of prices. I get some basic life insurance from my employer, but I couldn't tell you if I should just buy bigger there or look outside of work. Feel free to tell me that this is just more expensive insurance with a 'discount' attached to it.
Note: I understand the dilemma of providing this much information to life insurance companies, but let's say that is not the focus of this question.
